TRAVEL: WAIMEA, HAWAI‘I ISLAND

THE OLDER I GET, THE MORE I LONG TO MOVE HOME.

And there was no exception when I visited my grandma today.

Usually when I visit my grandma, I never set foot in the back yard, which also happens to be a thriving garden. Today, however, when the bright orange of the overwhelmingly fruitful tangerine tree contrasted against the bright blue sky caught my eye, I felt a sudden urge to make my way outside.

Though it feels impossible to do, I can tell you that I fell in love with Waimea a little more this morning.
