…read my personal Instagram caption last night. And it’s true. Sunsets in Hawai‘i – and beautiful sunsets at that – are an everyday occurrence here. Which is why I believe they’re so easy to take for granted.

That’s why, at the beginning of 2017, I made it my mission to watch more sunsets this year. I’ll be honest, I’ve been truly lacking. In the first three months of the year, I’ve watched less Sunsets than I can count on both hands. BUT, I think my trade off is that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single one in a way that I never have before.

If you’re ever looking for a beautiful place to watch a sunset (on the Island of O‘ahu at least), here are some of my favorites:

  • China Walls
    Hawai‘i Kai
  • Mokuleia
    North Shore
  • Diamond Head
    Kahala/Kaimuki area
  • Tantalus
