HER

I don’t want to bore you with the details. So I Googled (verbatim) ‘fun about me’ and found this article with 13 questions on Entrepreneur. I’m going to answer some of them for you:

DESCRIBE YOUR FIRST CAR AND WHAT YOU LOVED OR HATED ABOUT IT MOST.

Well, my first car was 1999 2-Door Acura Integra. I LOVED that at the time, it was the ‘cool car’ to have. I LOVED that it meant freedom and driving to wherever to hangout with whoever at anytime! I HATED that it wasn’t a truck. And I HATED that it had leather seats, because it burned my ass every time I got back in the car after going to Kona or the beach.

WHAT ONE ACCOMPLISHMENT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?

Graduating from USC with a Masters Degree. For one, the University of Southern California is NOT an easy school. Most people frown a bit when I tell them I did distant learning – which means that I wasn’t on campus. Indeed, my classroom was my computer. But I argue that working full time and having to, for the most part, be self-taught, is even harder than attending class in person.

WHAT’S THE MOST UNUSUAL ITEM IN YOUR DESK DRAWER?

Probably a can of Vienna Sausage. LOL! My coworker (who also happens to be my really good friend) is a class clown, and when I walked into the office on my birthday, I had a decorated can of Vienna Sausage that I was told ‘represents our friendship’.  I’ve kept it in my drawer ever since!

AND I GUESS IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW…

I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, something I am quite proud of. I’m small. 4’11”. I love my 4Runner, who I nicknamed Thor. I like to go free diving and hiking, but I’m not considered avid in either realm. I love hanging out with my friends, I prefer beer over liquor and wine, I have exactly one cup of coffee in the morning and I’m obsessed (sort of) with my Instax camera! I also am a lover of lettering (brush, calligraphy) and have a bad habit of reading books until the half way point. I like gold and white together, I love dogs (though I don’t have one of my own), and I have what I like to call a black thumb, because I can’t keep plants alive to save my life.
